Greetings! The latest episode in our S&K Difference Video Series is available – featuring the CSKT Bison Range.
The Bison Range, located just across the highway from our corporate office, is a 18,500-acre wildlife refuge dedicated to the conservation of bison and other native wildlife. Established in 1908, it was one of the first national wildlife refuges in the United States and plays a crucial role in preserving the American bison population.
The range is home to over 300 bison, as well as other species like elk, mule deer, and a variety of birds. Visitors can explore scenic drives, hiking trails, and wildlife viewing opportunities while experiencing the breathtaking landscapes of the Rocky Mountains and the nearby Flathead River. The range also serves as an educational site, offering insights into bison history, Native American culture, and conservation efforts.
To all employees – we are deeply grateful for your dedication and hard work at S&K. Your efforts not only drive our success but also directly benefit the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Because of you, we are making a lasting, positive impact for Tribal people and future generations.
